Pro-Imaging launches campaign against photo competition rights grabs
Tagged:

Pro-Imaging, the mailing list group for professional photographers, has launched a campaign targeted at organisers and sponsors of photographic competitions that are merely rights grabbing devices.

The campaign aims to vet competition terms and conditions against a Bill of Rights for Photographers and classify them as good or bad news on 'Rights On' or 'Rights Off' lists respectively.

Pro-Imaging also intends approaching the organisers of rights-grabbing competitions and encouraging them toward better practice.
